How to Sell a Warm Roof
We all know the famous line "Sell Me This Pen" and no doubt just about everyone reading this post will know which film that came from but is it really relevant? My answer to this question is NO. The whole point of the "Sell Me This Pen" test was to see if the seller understood that they needed to create a need for the product as well as urgency, In the Wolf of Wall street the answer to that question was to ask the buyer to write down their name on a piece of paper, their response? I don't have a pen...
Why then is my answer no its not relevant? If your talking to a customer about replacing their warm roof they already have a need, they already want the product, the work to get that buyer interested and talking to you has already been done by your marketing.
Keeping with the Pen analogy lets change the setting, your buyer is talking to 2 other pen sellers, why should they choose yours? And that's the question isn't it.... How do I win this business.
My name is Keith Turley and I have been selling conservatory warm roofs for 6 years and sold more than 1000 warm roofs in this time. I have never sold poor quality products and generally I have been more expensive than my competitors but I have always supplied more value and my customers know that.
